Idaho Plato Learning Network
Early in 2004 to provide an additional resource for teachers to support the Idaho Standards Achievement Tests (ISAT) the Idaho State Board of Education sought to purchase a computer-based instructional intervention program for remediation and advancement of Idaho students.
In June 2004 the state procurement process resulted in a contract with Plato Learning, Inc., a company with a history of successful student outcomes. The K-12 courseware is research-based and aligned with Idaho content standards. Engineering services and professional development for staff are also included in the contract.
