VOTE ON CHARTER APPEAL DELAYED UNTIL THURSDAY

(Pocatello). A vote on the appeal by Nampa Classical Academy of their revocation of charter from the Idaho Public Charter School Commission by the Idaho State Board of Education has been postponed until late Thursday afternoon, August 12, 2010.

Board members gave unanimous consent to move the vote until the final agenda item to be considered Thursday afternoon, giving each of the members more time to fully weigh their vote.

As there is no outcome to the issue at this point and will not be until late in the afternoon, Thursday, August 12, 201, there will be no further comment from the Board or Board staff until that time.
