BOARD RECESSES: NO DECISION IN NAMPA CLASSICAL ACADEMY APPEAL

(Pocatello). By a 7-0 vote, the Idaho State Board of Education voted to recess its hearing on the revocation of charter of Nampa Classical Academy.

The Board also voted to meet on Tuesday, August 17th at 2pm in Boise at the Office of the Idaho State Board of Education, 650 West State Street Suite #307 to resume the hearing. Board members expressed a desire to give all parties involved in the process sufficient time to fully digest new materials that were requested of Nampa Classical Academy during the hearing on Wednesday.

As the hearing is still on-going, there will be no further comment on this issue from the Board or staff.
