BOARD NAMES GRACE AS CHIEF ACADEMIC OFFICER

(Twin Falls). The Idaho State Board of Education announced today that they have hired Selena Grace as its' Chief Academic Officer effective immediately.

Grace has been serving as the Acting Interim Chief Academic Officer since November 2010.

"Selena has demonstrated an ability to work with our institutions and is already leading them through some very positive efforts. I'm thrilled she's willing to continue in this capacity," said Ken Edmunds, Vice-President of the State Board of Education and chairman of the Instruction, Research and Student Affairs Committee which oversees all academic endeavors.

"I am pleased to accept this responsibility in an official capacity. I look forward to the work ahead," said Grace.

Grace, who joined the Office of the State Board of Education in February 2007, holds degrees from Boise State University and George Mason University.
