The Idaho State Board of Education voted today to appoint Bill Robertson as the Interim President at EITC. "Bill has served in this position in the past and has demonstrated to the Board his solid understanding of all aspects of the operation of the institution," said State Board President Blake Hall. "We are pleased that he has agreed to serve in this capacity once more."
Bill has been with Eastern Idaho Technical College since 1972 where he began as a counselor in the Student Services Division. Subsequently, he became the Dean of Administration, a position he has held for several years. Bill holds a masters degree from Idaho State University, is married and has four grown children.
It is anticipated that Bill will begin a transition period immediately and assume the responsibilities of interim president just prior to Dr. LaRowe's departure.
