Idaho's MOST to hold a statewide Teacher Policy Public Hearing May 29

Idaho's MOST, a teaching quality initiative of the Idaho State Board of Education, is holding a statewide Teacher Policy Public Hearing, scheduled for Thursday, May 29, 2003, 7:00 pm-9:00 pm Mountain time (6-8pm Pacific time).

The public hearing will be held via distance learning network at 7 locations statewide:

Coeur d'Alene - LCSC Extension (NIC campus)
Lewiston - LCSC Sam Glenn Complex, 50
Moscow - UI Education Bldg, 103
Pocatello - ISU Media/Library center, B35
Boise - Joe R. Williams Bldg, E. Conference Room
Twin Falls - CSI Shields Bldg, 209
Idaho Falls - EITC John E. Christofforson, 371

This is an opportunity to comment on drafts of recommendations that will impact and support teaching in Idaho in four areas:

1. Teacher Licensure
2. New Guidelines for Teacher Professional Development
3. New Alternative Routes to Teacher Licensure
4. Middle Level Teaching Certification
