"IDAHO'S GOLD" Education News Magazine Featuring Idaho's Educators and Students to Air Second Video
Boise - The Idaho State Board of Education announced today that "Idaho's Gold," the second video documentary featuring just a few of Idaho's exceptional teachers in their classrooms working with their students, will air across the state next week.
The video news magazine features Idaho's students and educators from kindergarten classes to college student teaching programs. Classrooms in central Idaho, southwest Idaho and North Idaho were recorded for the program.
"Idaho's children are Idaho's gold," said Jim Hammond, Idaho's MOST Chair and Vice President of the Idaho State Board of Education. "I believe deeply in the importance of teaching. It is time to elevate respect for this profession, and this broadcast on television stations throughout the state is a fitting affirmation of the teaching profession."
