BOISE-The Idaho State Board of Education will hold a special telephone board meeting Thursday to discuss issuing $32 million in public bonds for construction projects at Boise State University.
The Board meeting will start at 2:30 p.m. MST February 5. To listen to the meeting, dial (334) 262-0740 and enter 860361. This is not a toll-free call. Those wishing to attend the meeting in person may do so by coming to the State Board of Education office at 650 W. State St., Room 307, in Boise.
The bonds would be used to construct a student services center, interactive learning center, west campus parking project, make improvements to Bronco Stadium, and invest in energy projects around the BSU campus. In addition to reviewing the public bond offering, the State Board will discuss the Technical Advisory Committee tasked with creating sections of the Idaho Standards and Achievement Tests.
