The State Board of Education unanimously (8-0) approved administrative rules to be forwarded to the Legislature for final authorization.
The rules approved included: computer based alternative certification routes, Limited English Proficient standards, measuring adequate yearly growth under No Child Left Behind, commercial driving school rules, school busing and school accreditation.
The Board will consider charter school, adequate yearly progress, public school driver education and training rules at a special meeting Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the J.R. Williams Building in Boise, east conference room.
