Boise - Thirty-six Idaho seniors are the recipients of the distinguished Robert C. Byrd Honor's Scholarship.
The award is a federally funded, state administered scholarship that recognizes exceptional high school seniors who show promise of continued excellence in the postsecondary educational system. The award is $1,500 per year, renewable for up to 4 years.
Awards were based on academic achievement including grade point average, ACT scores, and faculty ratings. Recipients may attend any accredited public or private nonprofit institution of higher education, proprietary institution of higher education, or postsecondary vocational institution.
