POCATELLO - Students, faculty, alumni and the public are invited to talk to the Idaho State University Presidential Advisory Committee about what they want in a new ISU president.
The community forum will begin at 10 a.m. on August 25 at the Pond Student Union Building, Salmon River Suite and end at 6:50 p.m. The public is invited to talk to the committee during scheduled times for various interest groups.
"This is an excellent opportunity for the public to voice their opinions about what the committee should look for as we recruit the next president of Idaho State University ," said Karen McGee, State Board member and chair of the committee. "The president of ISU is a community leader and it's vital the community voice their expectations. I encourage individuals to stop by throughout the day."
The 13 members of the ISU Presidential Advisory committee are responsible for recruiting and screening applicants and making a recommendation of finalists to the State Board of Education. The State Board of Education will make the final decision as to which candidate will be the next president of ISU.
