BOARD SLATED TO MEET IN LEWISTON

LEWISTON - The State Board of Education will hold its meeting October 17 on the Lewis-Clark State College campus in Lewiston, Idaho.

The Board will begin its meeting at 8 a.m. at the Williams Conference Center. The Board will hold an executive session Sunday evening at the Red Lion Inn in Lewiston.

Highlights of the agenda include:

Institution/Agency Salary Compensation: The Board will review policies and procedures relating to institutional and agency salaries. They will also discuss the recent Idaho State University 's administrative salary increases.

Boise State University : The University will present its new campus master plan.

Lewis-Clark State College: President Dene Thomas will give her annual progress report.

University of Idaho: The Board will review the status of the architecture program and foundation.

K-12: The Board will announce Additional Yearly Growth (AYG) and Distinguished Schools Rewards.

  • The Board will consider a request by the Boise School District to waive administration of the Direct Math Assessment.
