STATE BOARD TO NAME ISU PRESIDENT WEDNESDAY

POCATELLO - The Idaho State Board of Education will name the new president for Idaho State University at a news conference at 11 a.m. (MST) Wednesday, February 15, in the Marshall Family Rotunda of the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center on the ISU Campus.

State Board of Education member and chair of the presidential advisory committee Karen McGee will make the formal announcement followed by a question-and-answer session with the new president.

Following the announcement, there will be a university wide reception from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Marshall Family Rotunda. The president will then meet with a variety of faculty, staff and administrative groups during the remainder of the afternoon.

Prior to the announcement, the State Board of Education will approve the hiring of the new president via a conference call at 10:50 a.m. (MST). The call will originate from the Simplot Conference Room in the Stephens Center. To listen to the call, dial 1-877-322-9648 and enter: 126510.
