BOARD SETS PRESIDENT’S SALARIES, SETS MEETING

BOISE— The Idaho State Board of Education met today, Friday May 11, 2007 and has discussed and approved salaries for each of the institution presidents for the 2007-2008 fiscal year.

The salaries, which go into effect July 1, 2007 at the start of the 2008 fiscal year, are:

• University of Idaho President Tim White $291,911
• Boise State University President Robert Kustra $282,463
• Idaho State University President Arthur Valais $273,000
• Lewis Clark State College President Dene Thomas $146,141
• Eastern Idaho Technical College President Bill Robertson $113,305

The Board approved an additional meeting date for the 2008 calendar. The Board will meet for one day, Monday April 7, 2008 in Boise specifically for tuition and fee setting.
