BOISE— The Idaho State Board of Education will meet Wednesday June 13th and Thursday June 14, 2007. The meetings, which are open to the public, commence at 2:00pm on Wednesday and 8:00am on Thursday at the Lake Coeur d’Alene Room in the Student Union Building on the campus of North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene.
Among the topics on the agenda are fiscal year 2008 operating budgets for each of Idaho’s state owned institutions of higher learning, and student health insurance plans (SHIP).
The Board has also set aside time to discuss a number of topics related to the newly formed College of Western Idaho. The items may include but are not limited to criteria for selection of trustees.
Also on the agenda will be presentations from each of the 12 agencies that report to the State Board of Education relative to their individual strategic plans for the upcoming fiscal year (2008). Fiscal Year 2008 starts July 1, 2007 and runs through June 30, 2008.
