BOISE— Idaho State Board of Education President Milford Terrell will administer the oath of office to the five new trustees for the College of Western Idaho on Monday, July 30, 2007. The ceremony is scheduled for 2pm, in room 116 of the classroom building on the Boise State University West campus. The campus is located at 5500 East University Way in Nampa, near the Idaho Center.
Trustees will swear an oath of allegiance to the office, and then sit in their first ever meeting where they are expected to select officers. The trustees, selected by the Idaho State Board of Education are:
Once the Board of Trustees of the College of Western Idaho is formally sworn in, they will review a brief agenda of business and discussion items. Among the items the CWI Trustees will have in front of them for consideration is a proposal to contract with Boise State University for initial transition services, including the drafting of an operational and budget plan.
Other members of the State Board of Education may be in attendance but are not formally meeting.
