(Moscow). Members of the Idaho State Board of Education today voted to approve a request from the University of Idaho to move forward with development of concepts to possibly expand the school of law to a second location in Boise.
The request includes the authority to proceed with implementation planning for the two- location concept, including operating and capital budgets, facility needs analysis, curriculum and a total project timeline.
The Board also approved the contract for University of Idaho Men’s Head Basketball Coach Don Verilin as well as a $45,100 raise in annual salary for Boise State Women’s Head Basketball Coach Gordie Presnell.
Board officers were also elected for the upcoming year. Milford Terrell was re-elected as Board President, Paul Agidius was re-elected as Board Vice-President and Sue Thilo as Secretary. Board officers serve from April to April for a term of one year.
The Board’s next regularly scheduled meeting is set for May 22-23, 2008 in Boise.
