(Idaho Falls). Two members of the Idaho State Board of Education will lead the search committee to find a new president for the University of Idaho. Current Board Vice President, Paul Agidius and current Board Secretary Sue Thilo will co-chair the search committee whose members were announced today by Board President Milford Terrell.
Joining Agidius and Thilo on the committee are:
“This is an incredible group of people, all with a singular eye focused on finding the absolute best fit for the University of Idaho, its faculty, the surrounding area, and the education community of Idaho,” said committee co-chair Paul Agidius.
“I like the mix of community members and academic and administration representatives from the University,” said committee co-chair Sue Thilo. “The President of the University of Idaho is one of the great jobs in higher education and this group will find the right person.”
The committee chairs say they expect to meet monthly, with the anticipation they will have finalists for the Board to interview in 6 to 9 months.
