Robert R. Lee Promise Category A Scholarship
The Robert R. Lee Promise Category A Scholarship provides approximately 25 new scholarships each year to academic scholars and professional-technical students. The award is $3,000 per year, renewable up to four years for academic programs and for the term of the professional-technical program, up to three years.
Category A Eligibility:
To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be an Idaho resident
- Be a graduating senior of an Idaho high school or its equivalent.
- Enroll as a full-time student in an academic or professional-technical program at an eligible Idaho college or university
Academic applicants must also:
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above and an ACT score of 28 or above
- Enroll as a full-time student in an academic program at an eligible Idaho college or university. For a list of eligible majors please see the Higher Education in Idaho 2009 publication (pages 28-29).
Professional-technical applicants must also:
- Earn a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above and take the COMPASS test (reading, writing and algebra scores required).
- Enroll as a full-time student in a professional-technical program at an eligible Idaho college or university. For a list of eligible programs please see the Higher Education in Idaho 2009 publication (page 34-35).
The window to apply for the Robert R. Lee Promise Category A Scholarship
is November 2 to January 15
